Belle Meade
Belle Meade, uniquely known as the town within a town, is one of Davidson County’s most affluent and traditional neighborhoods with privacy and security provided by its own police force, mayor, and town hall. The neighborhood’s namesake, “beautiful meadow,” stems from the days of the land being part of the historic Belle Meade Plantation, which still sits just west along Harding Pike, and includes what’s now known as Percy Warner Park to the south at the end of the main thoroughfare Belle Meade Boulevard. Homes in Belle Meade are typically situated on large plots of land and exude the Southern charm that was for so long the quintessential Nashville.
