Midtown/West End
The West End corridor, while dominated by Vanderbilt University, is a bustling and rapidly developing urban residential district. Along the main thoroughfare connecting downtown to West Nashville and Belle Meade, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, hotels, and developments ranging from extremely expensive to the most reasonably priced among new high-rise residential rising up all around. Great public parks offering outdoor movies and music pepper the avenue and, as you travel west, you’ll find pocket neighborhoods mixed in with wide, tree-lined streets with beautiful 1920s bungalows and Craftsman-style homes.
